Re: Removal of subsilver2 in 3.1

Maybe and call me pessimistic on this one, but the die hard fans of subsilver2 would probably argue that since support was provided for 3.1, where is the problem to also provide it for 3.2. I know that my argument is mostly hypothetical, but looking at all the discussion we have had so far, it could...

Re: [RFC] Revamp Statistics

IMO any sent information should be done on an opt-in basis. Perhaps a setting like "Automatically send anonymous usage statistics" would let us bypass having to ask the admin each time we want to do it, but I do not agree with sending such information sans explicit consent. .... this! With the over...

Re: Removal of subsilver2 in 3.1

I am all for removing it because I do not see any point in keeping it. We would be in the same discussion again when 3.2 is in the works.

Re: [RFC|Rejected] Removal of subsilver2

No it doesn't. Would be simply a style for the 3.0.X line and then "fade away". If the user want to keep it, they will keep it maintained. Give it to the community and if there are people who want to have it for the 3.X line they will submit updates to the style DB and maybe "upgrade" it to 3.X.

Re: [RFC|Rejected] Removal of subsilver2

I was and am still for a removal. I always thought that it was a "bad" decision to have two styles shipped with the software but I do not want to bring up old arguments for its removal. I think Arty's points are valid ones. Also I do not think that this "slow fading" will work. If i were good at it ...

Re: Thanks for post

It would be nice, but only if its a simple elegant system, not bloated like most mods are. I think XenForo has perfect implementation of this feature: there is only "Like" link below posts and amount of "likes" user has received on user's profile. That's it. Nothing else. No useless stuff like abil...

Re: [RFC|Merged] Rounded corners via css

Because it is probably a forum from a different country and culture (".ir") where the reading habits are maybe different?!

In any case the rounded corners looks nice Meis2M.

Re: [RFC] Remove QR post subject field

Like I said in the other topic too, to which imkingdavid linked, I am also for removing the subject line. I think from a design point it creates to much unused space. Also if I use the quick reply I would assume that I reply to the subject which is being discussed in that topic. If I want to change ...

Re: [RFC] Show number by each post

Or give it different colors, i.e. "black" = read, "red" = unread.

Re: Enable quick reply in all area51 forums

I have to agree with AliasM2K. I would also leave the subject line away. In case someone wants to change the subject (Why would someone anyway, when he is replying to the topic?), he or she could do that in the full editor. Nevertheless, like the fact that the quick reply shows now without having to...
