Okay, then the "problem" for me is that my server almost always is on idle :D
Spec: AuthenticAMD, Quad-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 1354 & 6GB RAM - dedicated server. I know it is overkill, but I am guarenteed 99.9 % uptime and that is what I want.
I only host about 6 boards there, only 3 of them ...

So what you are saying is that the ACM modules only will come to their rights when the server is close to being overloaded?

Found this thread by accident ;)
I have been using xcache for a couple of month without the ACM modules and it is working great.
Out of curiosity I simply had to try this.
So I download the files from SVN, change config.php to use xcache and uploaded them.
Changed xcache.ini to use the variable ...
