A sitemap mod can work for bots and humans at the same time :

Here you have an example :
For humans : Using the forum style
For bots like google that's require .xml format : XML
For bots like yahoo that's use txt format : List

Clearing the GENERAL is a good idea.
IMHO quick access should do a simply redirect to the proper tab/menu and do not duplicate content

The only thing I think that would be useful for the custom bbcode system is being able to assign template variables, this would be very useful when only wanting bbcodes to be viewed by logged in users. Subsiver2 is newbie user friendly : when I move my phpbb 2x to 3x I hate prosilver, but just because I never use something like that, now after some time and modifications I like it and find subsilver2 awful to use.
