Re: [Define New Theme] 8. Utilize Font Awesome icons where icons are needed to simplify server requests.

I'm using a different PC now with a different network connection and IE 11, and I can see the icons now. I don't think that they're nearly as attractive as the phpBB 3.1.x icons.

I'll check my IE 10 PC again later (the network there is having issues).

Merged!
Is the merge why I'm no longer seeing the "last post", "first unread post", "quote", "report" and so on icons?

if so, this needs to be fixed soon or backed out.

not sure what is meant by referencing those names like that. Need more specific examples pls provide visuals or reference ...

Re: phpBB 3.2 language problems

And for the rest: I'm a terrible english speaker.

That's OK, but I would suggest having somebody who is an excellent English speaker (reader) proofread language file pull requests of those people who aren't good English speakers (writers). Given that British English is the "official" phpBB ...

Re: Rename and move "Last visit was:"

The Last Visit problem may also explain the problem that I reported in New Posts Not Working? back in January.

Re: Rename and move "Last visit was:"

Presumably "visit" means "hit a phpBB page while logged in", so it's not when you logged in. If you were clicking through pages for hours, your last visit would be hours later than your login time.

Re: Smiley Management

Totally against the idea of having checkboxes or anything else in the smileys list that would make the user select multiple smileys and then click on a button to post the selected smileys. Makes no sense at all and makes for nuisance postings where if there really are 300 smileys on the posting ...

Re: Integrated Expandable Life Chat Area

Hmmmm, okay. I thought, the meaning of "forum" is a place whee people come together, in order to discuss things.

Technically, phpBB is Bulletin Board software (hence the "BB" at the end). Forums in phpBB are just a way to better organize information compared to real world bulletin boards. That ...

Re: Smiley Management

Screenshot: did you scroll to the left?

I don't recall seeing the scroll bar yesterday, hence my comment (if I did see it, I must have thought that it was part of the image).

That said, I strongly suggest cropping out the useless stuff to avoid having to scroll. There's really no need to see ...

While a number of boards do have chat, I agree with David.
