Re: PHPBB3-10418 - WYSIWYG Editor/Rich Text Editor

Regardless of those, I'm now very busy and will be for the next 4 months or so. If someone wants to work with me on this just call me in. Otherwise, wait for my next available time and I'll work on it for real.

Thanks for taking the time to work on this anyway. I'm sure we can all appreciate ...

Re: PHPBB3-10418 - WYSIWYG Editor/Rich Text Editor

I think that a WYSIWYG editor should be added to the final release of 3.2. either CKEDITOR or SCEDITOR.

Re: phpbb 4

December of 2007, per this announcement.

I do however feel that it's a mistake to think that the entire code base is old. Sure, a lot was designed quite a while ago, but very much is also new when we released 3.1 that uses a lot of Symfony components, so that renewed a lot of our existing code.

Re: phpbb 4

Please keep in mind that this project is entirely run by volunteers, most of which have full time jobs. Under our current versioning scheme, having something like phpBB4 would mean completely rewriting the entire phpBB codebase, I'm sure you'll understand that something like this is an enormous ...

Hi there!

Like I said in your other topic, this board is only meant for discussion with regards to the development of the core phpBB software, not for discussion with regards to the development of extensions for the phpBB software, we have an Extensions Requests forum for that on our main board ...

Hi, welcome to Area51. :)

This board is about the development of the core phpBB software. Here discussion takes place about potential additions to the core phpBB software. What you are suggesting is to have people pay for using certain functionality. I think it would be save to say that something ...

Re: New smilies panel ?

Even though the way it looks in the screenshot, it's just a small and mainly cosmetic change, I like the idea. It would be good to make it easier and quicker to add/delete smilies that have multiple smiley codes. :)

May I ask how you handle this while adding smilies? Would you allow for multiple ...
