Re: [RFC] Move "print view" and "email friend" into the topic tools
Printing and emailing a friend about a topic are actions associated with a specific topic so how about moving those icons inside the topic tools dropdown list?
That sounds good, but only if they put Topic Tools at the top of the page as well (in other words, at the top and bottom). I had to look ...

Agreed. Less clutter = better.

Re: Prosilver redesign

Well, it isn't complete yet! Both I and the guy who made it (iirc) use high contrast monitors, so that's why you might be having issues with it.
I think It looks amazing. But as others have mentioned it is not very easy to read.

[RFC] Move navbar(s) to new template file (navbar_header.html)
Now that the template engine is much more powerful, I think many style developers will start to use template inheritance more and more. The overall_header.html is of course one of the most important.
Would it be a good idea to move the <div class="navbar"> section to a new template file navbar ...

Re: AngularJS for phpbb
It's one of many articles about it! Realistically though, progressive enhancement is allowing people who are scared of JavaScript for reasons never entirely explained (adverts can be dealt with using Ghostery and something like Adblock Plus , the security argument is bull, the support argument is ...

Re: [RFC] Replace CSS Reset to normalize.css in prosilver
Are there any advantages at all to doing this?
Besides the obvious advantages already referred to?
I'm not sure we should switch (although I seriously doubt it will be as much trouble as you suggest, especially given that we are dropping IE6), but to say that there are no advantages at all is a ...

Re: [RFC] Update jQuery included in 3.1 to 1.11.0
I think your pleading is to no avail. I don't see it happening for 3.1 .Sumanai wrote:This code works stably, it is valid markup.
