The separators are there for a reason. They indicate a separation in types of links. It will become more apparent once extensions start making use of it.

No. This isn't possible anymore, since CSS files are no longer parsed and saved in the DB. All this is handled now by twigs caching mechanism IIRC, so this behavior has changed significantly.

Might be a long shot, but here goes.
If we are getting an official phpBB extension at some point between 3.1 and 3.2 which handles custom pages , we might be able to integrate it into the core for 3.2.
Then we might be able to do away with faq.php altogether, and just have a predefined FAQ page ...

Is there any easy/admin way to modify the text of the 'quick links'? As in I'd like them to say:
Your adverts
New adverts
etc
etc
Or simply a need of hacking the core? Easily done?
