Re: Self-contained MODs

Styles would likely still be either prosilver or subsilver2 based anyways so they would theoretically work the same as they do right now.
But many styles change the layout or add things to the html files. Cyberaliens styles are a perfect example of that with the way he uses, eg, $CA_BLOCK stuff

Re: [RFC] MODX 2.0

the name of the folder in the archive should be mod_name-1.0.0

How would Automod treat revisions to mods if this naming convention is used?

EG, let's say I have a zip called mod_name-1.0.0.zip and within it a directory mod_name, if I make a new revision mod_name-1.0.1.zip with the same directory ...

Re: Errors after Anti-Bot Question installation

Okay, you're right as usual :) . That notepad++ works very well and is easy on the eyes, too - thanks for the great advice as I'll use it in the future. So I'm not getting error messages now and it seems to be working perfectly except when I do a test registration it says "No Anti-Bot Question ...

You need to get a copy of Notepad++ and re-save the two language files mentioned in those errors (/language/en_us/acp/board.php and /language/en_us/common.php). Make sure you re-save them using Encoing "ITF-8(w/o BOM)"
"UTF-8(w/o BOM)" ;)
