Err ... sorry? It's not my forum, so it's hardly spam. It's a test enviroment that I setup to test out the converter, and I thought that I would use my evidence to vouch for the quality of the convertor - just as other have.

While not a 'true' test I have tested the upgrader on my local machine (running xampp), it performed perfectly. I am quite keen to test it on the actual forum / server. Can someone just confirm that (having performed a full backup etc) that the process will have no effect on the current forum ...

Which version are you using?

None of the features that you see here at Area 51 are added by any existing MODs. What you are seeing is phpBB 3 (Olympus). Everything that you see here will come standard with phpBB 3...

Yes, looks like custom profiles fields are censored as well.

Just created a test enviroment on our server and converted the forum very easily. 4940 members and 301670 articles ...

However, it didn't convert smileys or avatars ... so I think maybe I didn't have the permissions on those folders set correctly (though I know I did change them when it alerted me ...

I did quick test in the "Interests" field ... looks like the word censors apply there as well.
