Re: Staff Topioc Mod Error

DIY:

Upload "db_update.php" to "install/db_update.php" and run it. This updates your database, setting the number of topics a user has. Delete the file once you've run it.

Re: Staff Topioc Mod Error

Hmm... This is weird. When installing a DB update for a mod it says
Template->loadfile(): File ../templates/subSilver/simple_header.tpl for handle overall_header is empty

What does that mean? The mod is Topics a User Has Started Mod.

Edit: And yes, I moved it to root/install/db_update.php

Past that error. If I can't fix this error I'll edit this post.

EDIT: Ugg. New error. Search.php. Can't find

$folder_new = $images['folder_new'];
}
}

Making a .txt of search.php.

I'm really confused with this error. Normally I can simply find it by search for one part of the requirements and find it. Please help! :)

Re: Suggestion

I highly doubt I would be able to code something. But the current one is just not functional. If you restore the backups, then other mods that you installed after it that also edited that file are gone for good and errors galore pop up.

Re: Suggestion

With the all backups folder, it could have every file edited, and then a file with what's changed in each mod. Then if you unistall a mod, it will just go in and undo what it did. And for the re-install by redoing them, I really can't. Some mods don't work at first, and I usually have to edit the in...

Suggestion

With backups, Make a directory for ALL backups or something. Because, if you want to uninstall a mod that you have installed earlier, and you installed another mod after that mod, all mods you installed after the one your installing can be messed up. I have to redo my WHOLE forum now :( :evil:
