No, that would be a terrible idea to have a wide phpbb record. Im just talking about a single phpbb board.

Yea, when making a karma system, the developers have to make a very strong line between a user breaking the rules and a user just making a bad post that doesnt inflict the forums rules.

My idea here is probably way in over my head but here it goes... You could like a "Criminal Record" of everyone. And keep a record of who does what thats wrong. And say a user does so many violations, a PM would be sent to a moderator telling the moderator that user has x ammount of warnings and sho...

Well thats the problem, I wish my system woudl work, but I do have an example. Every forum that uses a karma system is an example of this. Why? Because there will *always* be a user who over uses his ability to affect another user's karma status. You will always find a member who has -300 karma. Bec...

If your going to have a karma system, you need to have both. The objective of karma is for other users to see if a ceratin user has a negative attitude or a positive attitude. Having only positive is like rewarding everyone for no reason. Have both negative and positive but make sure you cant turn a...
