Running PHP 7.2 here and not getting that. Maybe you need to delete the cache/production directory.

Re: [NEW THEME] 4. JS frameworks & approach

Isn’t VueJS a bit much for what we do in phpBB, same with AngularJS and React? They do a ton of things we won’t really ever do, specifically with the whole templating and component structure that is followed by them since we already have Twig. Also I think translations would be a tad difficult to wo...

Re: Giving Warnings as a moderator (suggestions to make it less personal)

I'd be in favor of giving warnings and post disapprovals the same treatment we do for bans. Re: PHPBB3-10418 - WYSIWYG Editor/Rich Text Editor

Re: [GSOC 2018] Revamp PM system to chat based

I think that's outside the scope of the idea and I don't think you would have enough time to implement both the PM system you're suggesting AND a search backend for it within the time constraints of GSoC.

Re: Modification

Just to add to what has been said: there is no such thing as phpbb4 nor is there one planned. In phpBB 3.3, the next planned release, there is already an extension installer in the ACP.
