If I remember right posts in the Chit Chat are not counted HOL. So if you post 100 posts here your still on 0 posts. But I may be wrong.

well, maybe those board owners don't want to change it because they like where the login form is?!!

Well, thats your personal preference. I don't think the devs/style team need to think about where the login form is placed on the index page.

so till one is released you will have to do a little bit more. as far as i saw now the way would be myBB ---> SMF ---> phpbb2 ---> phpbb3 so maybe waiting for a myBB ---> phpbb3 might be better depending how fast you want to move to phpbb

well you can till that use the one from myBB --->phpbb2 --->phpbb3 ^^ not a nice solution maybe and needs more work but should do its job till the myBB ---> phpbb3 is released.

Allthough a nice idea i don't think that this is compatible with the philosophy here. It is not the same if you donate something or if you have to pay for it (might it be only 2 cents). the devs always said that this would be and stay a free software which is one of the reasons why it is so popular ...

I think it was posted somewhere that the main site would change when the final is out. It is not that simple (ok in a technicale sense it is, use the by that time avaible converter and finished), because the main site will have to be reorganised into phphbb2 support (it was said that the 2.x.x would ...
