Because we modified our overall_footer.tpl to fit in with our site and didn't update it, it's not a crime or anything. We still own copyright, it's not less valid with that date, an updated date, or even no copyright at all, copyright exists regardless of whether it's brought to your attention or not.

There will be no converter ever available to convert from Beta 2 to Beta 3, RC1, or final. There just won't be.

You are quite right, I do recall Paul stating that the font was now Arial on all the buttons so that translators could translate without having to buy a triplex license or have to find someone with one.
