Re: Suspecting RC1 very soon!

Build a time machine (or purchase one for a few billion dollars) and go back 11 months to when the Conquering Olympus Berties were sold and you can then usurp the one that I got instead. Luckily I got mine, as he has faithfully sat protecting my computer desk. I can now sleep soundly knowing that no...

Re: proSilver now in CVS!

Hey, I'm good with phpBB code - I've released a MOD, and have made loads of code changes to my own forum (and others'). :P I just can't figure out how to get the CVS. I was in the same environment for awhile. Then I learned how to use CVS, and then I wish I hadn't. :P Yes, it does get quite d...

Not much longer until RC-1...

Remember that prosilver still has some bugs to be worked out. ;)

Re: Suspecting RC1 very soon!

Just because I like stirring the rumor mill, anyone notice that this Wednesday (April 4th) is the 5th anniversary of the release date of phpBB 2.0.0? I'd certainly pick that day as a likely day for release... ;)

Re: proSilver now in CVS!

somehow prosilver has some sort of a cluttered feeling to me compared to sS2... anyone feel the same way? I feel just the opposite. I always felt that subsilver2 (note the new capitalization folks!) had a more cluttered feel, especially in the UCP/MCP. I like the new design much better. Ahh, feel t...

Re: proSilver now in CVS!

Yep, I got it working for me too.

In addition to your screenshot, I got a screenshot of the new admin panel, which I personally don't like.

Re: proSilver now in CVS!

It's a shame they were banned. My CVS isn't working currently and I was hoping to be able to look at the to-be-released version of prosilver.

Incidentally, I assume that subSilver2 then is exactly the same as what we've been seeing on area51? Or are there any hidden new-looks?

Re: Tell me, are these bugs or known issues?...

Looking good on Safari 2 and Firefox 2 (OSX), works without problems. I really like the new system much more than phpBB2's methods. It's nice to already have the cursor at the right place and to not have to get confused with starting/stopping the tag. Nice job. :)

Re: Captchas and Human Readability

Me, I wouldn't mind them if they are understandable and readable. If some instructions are provided in the captcha image and it's easy enough to figure out (for humans, that is), I would actually prefer that over letters and numbers that are near-impossible to read.
