I really like the new images...

I'm not sure that auto-hiding them does anything except cause a distraction each time they reappear.

3.1 notifications somewhat difficult to read

The 3.1 notifications system is a leap in the right direction, but the contents displayed are very difficult to discern "at a glance".

I don't have the perfect solution for how to do this, but the key is brevity . I'd do something like this

This post frightens me.

If you're going to suggest replacing prosilver with something, that something should be clearly better than prosilver. It also needs to be neutral enough ...

Re: PHPBB4 died?

While I appreciate the concern and passion demonstrated by some of those who have replied here, the response remains the same: we have limited resources available to do a great amount of work. Those of you who wish to speed along phpBB development should contribute to the project, either by writing ...

[RFC] Rethink account recovery options

At the moment, in order to recover an account, one must provide both a username and email address. phpBB then sends an email with a password and link to activate said password (if you don't click the link, the password remains unchanged).

Re: Control-Enter for form submission

So the evaluation of Oleg's proposal with the above:
1) Ctrl+S is better than the current implementation.

Not sure where you even got CTRL+S as Oleg posted it as CTRL+Enter and I can find no reference to CTRL + S anywhere in this topic.
Yes, I of course meant Ctrl+Enter. Fixed in the previous ...

Re: Control-Enter for form submission

Seriously the customer support of phpBB just keeps getting better and better.
So does the constructive criticism put forth by certain individuals.

Re: [RFC] WYSIWYG Editor/Rich Text Editor

My idea now is to have phpBB to give support to SCE and only SCE. But still, have an API such that it's easy to block SCE's execution and use another editor instead.
I already went and studied that a bit and I found many solutions for that. I'm working on reducing that to 3, or so and discuss it ...
