Did you read the instructions for that MOD? It probably says something like "run installation script to make database changes"...

You could ask your host if that should work or not. Maybe there are some restrictions of using FTP at that domain.

If EasyMOD stopped working without any interference from you then your host might have changed something. So you should probably just ask your host about it.
