Re: [RFC] Add ACP link to the top of the index
The idea was to make it quicker to get to, hiding it in a menu would mean hovering(ie extra steps).

Re: [RFC] Add ACP link to the top of the index
When you login to phpBB 3.0.x you get this page:Jessica. wrote:+1 to this but someone needs to explain what the intermediary page is...
which means you have time to click on the ACP link before it refreshes to the index and you then have to scroll down.

[RFC] Add ACP link to the top of the index
Since page refreshes now are using ajax it would be nice to have the ACP link at the top by [ Moderator Control Panel ] in prosilver. Previously you had time to click on the ACP link on the intermediary page to get the ACP login page. I often find myself as a moderator logging in to the forum and ...

Re: User menu in the navbar
One more thing.... Is there a possibility to maybe add active topics here too?
And, I dont understand why phpbb doesnt have a default option to 'View your topics' similar to View your posts too. This might go well in that profile drop down. Perhaps I might need to create a separate a RFC for this ...

Re: Link topic to first unread post
Also, how do other forum software handle this?
XF handles it by linking topic title to first unread post, linking first post time to first post.
I have it running on customer's forum where 99% of visitors are not nerds (its about sewing). Users immediately adopted to change and find it very ...

Re: PHPBB4 died?
I have accepted that phpBB is in decline and probably will be dead in 5 years.

Re: [RFC] Spam clean up in message approval
Good idea. My mods would like it.
I'm currently deleting the account and removing all posts of spammers from the ACP. That way I don't have to disapprove other posts from the same spammer.
Mess for the time being(ie phpBB 3.0.x) you could use: https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/mod/one_click_ban ...

Your question would more likely get an answer on the main forums in the Converter forum: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewforum.php?f=65

Re: Admin panel design redesign. (See pic idea/draft)
Hi!
I've been using phpBB since the days of version 2 for forums and today when I did a new install the Admin Control panel did not look "new and fresh" and I disliked it...
So what I did was a quick flat redesign of it in 4 hours. And this is what It look like after adding FontAwesome, changed ...
