Re: Admin Control buttons misplaced.

due to the way how heights of block elements are supposed to be displayed, it is not always possible(or in most cases) to place your content at the bottom of block elements. the table is higher then the block element, which means that the bottom element does not reach the bottom of the table cell ->...

Re: New theme

I indeed use the Opera browser as TBE said. I dont use the default opera skin but a skin called collision 2.0, which has an aqua scrollbar. As for firefox, although a good browser, I don't like it. But I think we should not be discussing the operating system and skins I use on my pc, as it gives no ...

Re: New theme

Seems like a lot of people here use Macs, including theme-god DoubleJ... further proof that only intelegent people use Macs! =P Eeerh, what exactly makes you conclude that I use a mac. I am a 'gamer' so the last pc I will buy is a MAC because most games are only on the Windows system. Looks great.....

Re: New theme

Am I allowed to show off what I did? :?: (If not, delete me, scold me, hurt me baby hurt me :P ) http://www.delsolownersclub.com Basically modified the admin style to fit in the forum. Added some switches to help define some things... More of just a trial run than anything... Àlthough the administr...

Re: phpBB 3.2

wouldn't a modrewrite url be the thing. I've seen a mod for phpBB2 with these 'user friendly' urls but viewforum-1.html is not really a user friendly url. and creating urls like: domain.com/viewtopic/Your-topic-name/ requires all your topic names to be unique, or you could include the date in the ur...

Re: New theme

Well I guess this ensures that the new style won't look too dramatically different from subSilver...because it looks like the template files will be similar. Which is a disappointment actually because I was hoping for something completely new and fresh :) But ah well, I still have faith in the desi...

Re: Is Using "Newbie" Insulting?

I've never really noticed a forum where the phrase noob or what ever thing fomr it, is used. I only notice it in games, as I play them a lot online. Where noob is used in the context of: 'You silly person, why did you do that" "Silly person, do you understand what the purpose of the game is, what yo...
