From what I know, BartVB hosts Area51, somewhere, I don't know where. And http://www.phpbb.com is hosted at osuosl.

If you mean updating your style from version 2.0.x to 2.0.22 which is latest phpbb2 version, then wait till site gets back, as there is a topic with a detailed description about this.

I don't know how the devs could get track of the bugs now.

Been bit busy at school lately so have not been following the recent updates a lot.

Hopefully Bertie will not glue the new server together using the very same honey...

the only other side I know of, that does discussions on webhosts is:

I never really used it myself, but I've seen other people recommending it a lot so have a look there.

Sometimes it is better to not know things.

You always get to know things, when the time is right for it, or when you are ready for it.(with various exceptions of course).

Although I'm not part of the development team, this is just my point of view.

I do the support/validating of styles because I like doing it, I'm not planning to make money out of it at all, I would not like doing it then anyway. I simply see this as a hobby, and hobbies don't earn money, but cost ...
