I'm a bit confused why you would think that EM would be able to tell whether the MOD adheres to phpBB coding standards. EM doesn't seem to validate the modified code to assure that it will work. I have had to roll back many mods that installed perfectly using EM yet trashed my board...

Re: All operations successful, but instalation fails
It's obvious that the developer of the MOD put no effort into it to make it EM compatible. I had to alter it myself. The Gallery author isn't going to answer install questions for EM. He will answer questions that arise after his MOD is installed though...

I've been using EM beta1 (0.1.13) for quite some time and have been able to resolve most problems that arise during the installs, usually as a result of conflicting MODs. I've probably installed nearly 100 MODs using EM now. Thank you Nuttzy for providing such a valuable and time saving tool...

Re: Installation Failed but No Errors?
Perhaps there isn't an easy answer for this since neither of our messages have received a response yet. I have the same problem on a Gallery MOD install right now...

Re: Install Error Message
You can probably remove the phpBB2/ from in front of the Open command in your install file and it should work...

Re: remove mods from the Easymod db
An easier work-around to this would be to manually add an "a" or "1" to the version number in the install file. EasyMod would then recognize it as a new install and make it available for install once again...
