Re: Waited for BETA, for nothing.
...On Topic: People whine, and whine, and whine, and whine, and "WHEN IS THE BETA COMING OUT" clamor on and out. It comes out, and people are disappointed? Honestly. I know everybody else is saying the same thing, but this represents an achievement. That means 3.0 is coming SOON . Sooner ...

Re: So, the last surprise of Olympus is ...
I think all the suprises are over except for the style.
And nice slueth work in trying to guess that the style was purple... but i don't think that information would leak that easily. Besides... if it is purple, I'm not using it. I'm going with a good old normal color.

Permissions "Yes - No - Unset"
What's the difference between the NO and the Unset? I saw the answer a while ago but I have forgotten and can't find it now... I used search and everything. I think no means you can never do it, even if individual forums or even the whole board is set to yes, right, and unset means that you cannot d...

Re: 1 Quick Question
Does that mean that if you change it in one place, it will change in both automatically? I guess that's nicer so that it's easier to change the thing because it's in more than one place so it's not so hard to find. *shrug* Thanks!

1 Quick Question
Don't consider this support. Ummm I was browsing the ACP and I saw in the Board Configuration->Board Features: Allow Attachments in PMs. Then I went to Board Configuration->Private Message Settings and saw the same setting. I haven't tried it yet, but are the two tied together so that when one chang...

My Favorite Feature
OMG i was just looking around in an installation of olympus beta and as an admin I was viewing a normal user's profile and saw "view forum using this user's permissions" (or something like that) and that is like the best feature EVER! Now I can test out permissions as a normal user without...

Re: realise date
lol no release date. as long as there are big bugs and errors, BETAs will be rolling out and RCs will be next just for last laughs. Then even then there will be no release date until it has already been released! The release date will be the date it is released, is that good enough for you? lol

Release Email?
Wasn't this BETA release supposed to be reported in the mailing list? I thought that all posts that are posted in the annoucements forum are sent out to the mailing list. But I have yet to recieve an email in any of my three email adresses about this. Not that it's a big deal with, as I saw this on ...

Re: Regarding the user warning system
He can't tell you yet... it's a "super secret".Lastof wrote:Oooo, intresting.Graham wrote: The information is available to the template within the topic, whether it is displayed is up to the template designer
That begs another question: is it displayed in the super secret template?

Re: Feature in 3.2
It seems complicated =/ It's actually pretty easy to use. Now, if you set it up as such, cron can also be configured so that it is voice activated. Just say "Cron, go get me the newspaper", and he'll retrieve it from the front step. If you're not a subscriber, of course, he'll just get on...
