Alot of Web Hosts still use php4 too, as it's still supported, and far less finicky than php5. Considering when php5 came out, alot of webapps completely broke when using it compared to v4.



those are webaps based on classes ( or commonly said OOP )

meh, just playing around a bit.. anyway, most people who visit forums are people who don't have even the slightest idea what a table is. much less what html is or means. so, majority is against. aside from that, people will start to screw up, because they do not know how ...

that.. would suck. aside from taken usernames, let's focus on some other problems:

who is going to run the gigantic database?
who says I would want all those users on my forum?
a forum specialized in cars doesn't want any script-only members
