I think the admins are secretly trying to reverse engineer in the code of other BBS like vBulletin, IPB and Simplemachines and steal parts of their code...oh wait the code is open and can be seen already dumb me 8)

I wouldn't advise on making a mod for the current snapshot status, alot of the code may change between now and the release, and then you have a big chance your mod will have to be re-written again.

If you really want to be secure delete the file.

Oh, forgot to mention that the board will stop working then, but for the rest, there are no other side effects

Well I hope there will be an easy and advanced mode for setting permissions, just like phpBB2 had, you use simple mode by default, and then have a small button below it for advanced mode, as I prefer to use advanced mode for setting permissions.
