Re: Firefox...

As i'm sure you've heard by now, looking at how long you've been here, the software is developmental...meaning things can still change. It does not, however, mean things things WILL change, nor does it mean they will change as soon as you ask for them. Also, if you'd like to make a request for a fea...

as it has been said before: the entire point of this thread is to list which current phpBB 2.1.x features you enjoy the most, rather than list the ones you want.

Re: Convert IPB 2 to PHPBB

Although everything said up there is correct, no one has mentioned that you CAN convert your forum, with certain bugs, most of which are fixed throughout that thread, to the current version of phpBB using the IPB converter found on the main site.

Re: Download?

The CVS of phpBB 2.1.x can be found here, although it is recommended that you do not use it unless you are comfortable with manual SQL & PHP work. Also, CVS should NOT be used in a live environment (In other words, don't put it on the Internet).

Re: Nag nag on the release date

Sourceforges servers will be able to cope. They've had trouble handling 2.0.12 and 2.0.13. I'm doubtful :P That's not neccessarily due to a large number of people trying to download the software, though...the phpBB group's direct links work fine, and they're handling the same amount of traffic as t...

the thread

a thread similar to it

However, as noted by A_Jelly_Donut, having buttons added won't be supported in 3.0.0 at this time...if you want buttons, you can add them yourself, though.

Re: Change of default profile template

If you're referring to phpbb 2.0.12, then you can ask for support here.

If, however, you're referring to the CVS code, then, as the developers have clearly stated all over this site as well as in the software, there is no support offered.

Re: Theme Questions!

2 things: 1. This is the development board for new phpbb versions, if you were looking for support for the current phpbb version (currently 2.0.12) or lower, you would be directed to the main site , as support is not offered on this site. 2. However, since you mentioned that you use php-nuke, you wo...
