On the original topic at hand, I have noticed that since applying the very latest updates for IE I've encountered some login issues in general (non-phpBB specific). I don't know if they've changed the way cookies/sessions are handled for security reasons...perhaps they expire before their time ...

I don't think anyone should be downloading phpbb from anywhere else but phpbb. Who knows what kind of malicious code is in that thing.

Plus a lot of mods for 2.0.x won't be needed in Olympus as it will come with more features. 2.0.x will still be supported so if you like your forum as it is you don't have to upgrade if you don't want to.

I don't know the devs or moderators on any personal level. They develop and moderate pretty much the way I would expect in an open source community. They don't know me either so I don't take anything they say or do personally.
