My personal opinion:
If a page is XHMTL 1 compliant and it looks wrong in a particular browser, then the flaw is with the browser.

I havent got into XHTML at all, if you wouldnt mind and I know this is getting off topic a little so I will keep it breif but if you know, what would be the main difference / advantages from HTML and XHTML.

I just modded my 2.0.8 board with the Profile Control Panel mod. I really couldn't wait as I needed the Ignore feature. I also have Attachment mod. Here are three things I consider before adding a mod at this point:

I've never seen real names used on message boards. In fact it really isn't a very good idea to go around posting your real name on message boards. If the field was included by default, it'd be the first thing I removed.

easy to mod? are you kidding? i dont know about phpBB2.2 but phpBB2.0.x has a very long and difficult code. I've been modding all kinds of forums software. I'd have to say that vBulletin is the easiest, its also the best forums soft available. phpBB will never come so far... vB costs tho, and alot ...

Oh I understand that I can turn it off...I just wanted to make sure I understood what it did before I turned it off. I'm sure in certain circumstances for certain types of communities the feature would be handy.

m'kay, I tried really hard to understand this thread...and I played with the Karma a bit.
Just so I'm clear on this... Voting on a person's karma effects how everyone on the board see's their karma?
This wouldn't work well on my board...I have too many members who would vote other member's karma ...
