Yes phpBB 3.0 will be php5 compatible, and I'm sure if you searched the forums over at phpbb.com you would find the thread with the source changes to MAKE phpBB 2.0.x compatible with php5. The changes weren't too huge.

since I get converted to phpBB, I cannot speak to nukers or people of other religions. I also where the phpBB shirt and I read the phpBB code every night before sleeping.

I will not blame devs, but I am depressed, as "impatient" of the 2.2 reach beta status.

On the other hand, I prefer having phpbb2.2 out properly later that I hoped, than having phpbb2.2 already out with many bugs and security failures... so I am just ...
