Re: phpBB 3.2.0-b2 released

You can use a stopwatch, but i doubt that there would be any (noticable) time difference.

Confirmed it works, though I noticed something like the installer being slower than before.

I do not and I can't give you some data about that, just an impression. Can you confirm?
Slower than what?

Re: Complete redesign of the update process?

I've never used phpmyadmin, and I still don't know what that tool is. There have been times when the update process couldn't complete, why I'll never know - and my board crashed: Through FTP I erased the whole phpBB-board from my server, reinstalled it from scratch with the latest complete version ...

Re: Complete redesign of the update process?

Can you smart phpBB-people make this happen, or not? It won't be part of 3.2.x for sure, but we could do that later. Actually it should be fairly easy to implement (some) of it, the question is how it should work. Please also keep in mind, that the update process should be design in a way that prov...

Re: phpBB 3.2.0-b2 released

I think the intention is that the content of that folder shouldn't be modified by a style (as it doesn't make sense). Extensions may or may not modify it, but i don't really see the point of it in case of the feed template. So IMHO it aims to make the style authors life a bit easier, not to restrict...

Could someone please tell me the reason why the 'all' directory now exists into the styles folder?
Purposes, links to docs.. anything is welcome.
It contains the atom feed template as there is no reason to change that file for any style.

Re: Possible Bug - guests can view contact data in profile

Ok, I understand this is no bug, it is a "feature". What we said was that this is not a bug, but it would be a nice feature to add more control to the users/board admins to handle this in the future. Also, I would be surprised if this would be a legal issue anywhere in the world as users whether us...
