Re: ACP UX Improvements

Throwing out options will not result in better UX. I don't think that it is possible to improve UX without completely redesigning the ACP.

Re: Subfolder system for attachments

BC is great, i would probably go for a folder structure by upload date probably or something like that (theoretically this way you can have unlimited number of folders and not "just" 256*256 which sounds a lot, though i'm not convinced that the attachments get distributed equally among them). For th...

Re: Subfolder system for attachments

It is possible to implement it. However, probably you'll need to make two different PRs for 3.2 and master (or just do it for master, and make it an extension for 3.2). I'm not sure if a folder per user is such a good idea but i have nothing against having attachments in multiple subfolders in gener...

Can we agree that phpBB should be conforming to RFC 6265, which dates to April 2011?
And it does. It also does with 2109. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Re: Restarting/repeating travis-ci build after random failure

You don't really have to worry about it. If your PR is done, and tests fail for some unrelated reason, we will restart them when reviewing.

Re: Drop support for Firebird

Hello! Just trying to upgrade my board to v3.1 and surprise, no Firebird support. Very sad .. :( I fixed that PHP PDO bug in 7.x branch some time ago. Can you reconsider adding Firebird support? Thanks! Hi there! First of, thanks for your bug fix for the internals. Currently there are plans/discuss...

Re: RFC - Poll system

Sure, if you want to refactor some legacy part, feel free to do that. I would say unless you change something in behavior there isn't really a need to post an RFC (of course if you looking for feedback it is probably the way to go). I would also like to note that it would be great if you could keep ...

Why 3.2 version of parsing is better?
Thanks in advance!
That is just the format that the TextFormatter uses. How one stores data is not really makes anything better or worse, the reason why 3.2's BBCode parsing is better is just simply because the features that comes from the new TextFormatter.
