Re: Restarting/repeating travis-ci build after random failure

You don't really have to worry about it. If your PR is done, and tests fail for some unrelated reason, we will restart them when reviewing.

This ticket has not been implemented yet. There is no REST or any other type of API in 3.2.

Re: Drop support for Firebird

Hello! Just trying to upgrade my board to v3.1 and surprise, no Firebird support. Very sad .. :( I fixed that PHP PDO bug in 7.x branch some time ago. Can you reconsider adding Firebird support? Thanks! Hi there! First of, thanks for your bug fix for the internals. Currently there are plans/discuss...

Re: RFC - Poll system

Sure, if you want to refactor some legacy part, feel free to do that. I would say unless you change something in behavior there isn't really a need to post an RFC (of course if you looking for feedback it is probably the way to go). I would also like to note that it would be great if you could keep ...

Why 3.2 version of parsing is better?
Thanks in advance!
That is just the format that the TextFormatter uses. How one stores data is not really makes anything better or worse, the reason why 3.2's BBCode parsing is better is just simply because the features that comes from the new TextFormatter.

Re: Upgrading ACP's core code.

Here I do have to disagree. The refactoring/re-coding of the *CPs benefits first of all phpBB itself... this topic touches both sides: phpBB and extension writers (so to say, at the end of all: phpBB itself). ;) I'm not sure on exactly what we're disagreeing on, I guess it is not really important a...

Re: Upgrading ACP's core code.

Well, this bit about multiple major releases it's something discouraging. It is, however as I said earlier, as an extension author you shouldn't really worry about that part, as you would have the new *CP framework, which would allow you to write your extension's *CP parts in the new framework. Als...

Re: Upgrading ACP's core code.

There are plans to refactor the ACP (as basically everything else that is in a front-facing file). Probably when someone will have some architectural plans, then you can expect to see an RFC posted somewhere in this forum. As VSE said, the *CPs are pretty big beasts so it may take a lot of time/mult...

I think that for 3.3/4.0 we should have fontawesome topic icons and forum icons also.
As far as I know the plan is not to use any font icons.

Can I translate words between tags <info>--send-email</info> (in this case --send-email) in language file: language/xy/cli.php?

Example: To optionally send an email to the new user, use the <info>--send-email</info> option

EDIT: I guess it shouldn't be translated.
