Re: [Define New Theme] 14. Template files need re-broken out into more modular codebase

Re: New Posts Not Working?

This is still happening to me too, I have 3 pages of "New Posts" that date back all the way to February. I'm using Firefox on Windows 8.1.

Edit: So logged in via IE to test this and got the same 3 pages (was still logged in via firefox). Cleared the cookies in IE and then logged back in (IE) and I ...

Re: [RFC] Ability to @mention specific users in posts

Yeah it works fine on most smallish boards. Doesn't slow my board down too much. Just a small clan website so yeah, but if it was bigger then I would have done more load test to see how bad it would be.

Re: Proposing a more proper PM icon

the current plan is to replace all icons with font-awsome so posting random images of icons is kind of point less. if you have a suggested icon from the font-awsome library then by all means. Currently I believe the icon we are looking at using is the inbox icon. checkout paybas's pbtech http ...

Re: WYSIWYG Editor/Rich Text Editor

exx8 says to move from BBCode to WYSIWYG. I assume he wants to get rid of BBCode altogether in determent of WYSIWYG.
I have read nothing of the sort. I'm afraid you're attacking a straw man.

Not much of a straw man

Nobody except of the developers, will pick BBcode.
BBcode is like the ...

Re: Proposing a more proper PM icon

Ah I get what your saying now. It isn't the chat bubble he is referring to its the "Contact us" link in the footer. It also uses the https://raw.githubusercontent.com/phpbb/phpbb/3.1.x/phpBB/styles/prosilver/theme/images/icon_pm.gif , same as the "Private messages" link in the nav bar, although it ...

Re: Proposing a more proper PM icon

IMO the an envelope itself is considered private. A typical letter is addressed to one person or persons, also in the US and UK its illegal to open a letter or mail that is not addressed to you.
