Re: What is the future of phpBB????

I thought this was just a discussion, I did suggest the ideas in the "Responsive Layout"merged RFC a while back too. I don't write PRs...but I could start a new RFC if that's needed...

As I mentioned in the Responsive Layout topic I *would* like to see the statistics column from we_clearblue ...

Re: Prosilver redesign

I also suggested to create second official style, using for example bootstrap, angular (or another frontend JS fw) and twig syntax.
That sounds totally reasonable although I don't care so much how it's built nor with what as much as what it looks like and how it behaves. I know that I don't want ...

Re: Prosilver redesign

OK, so the question becomes do we make a whole *new* style that uses bootstrap or do we just tweak responsive prosilver to make it a little better, right?

Re: Prosilver redesign

EXreaction, I had no idea that you (not just you but maybe also the whole phpbb team) might change your opinion on BS. I remember that Arty and some others was really against it. It is true that we cant compare BS 3 with its previous versions. BS 3 is made really professionally, performance is ...

Re: WYSIWYG Editor/Rich Text Editor

I was not trying to imply you didn't know this, I was trying to make it clear to everyone. :)
Yeah, I figured as much but I took the opportunity to appeal to reconsider the option to make it an Extension since most posts are plain text and many admins don't want it. If all we get is an off-switch ...

Re: Selective quote

My only problem with it is that it only copies plain text reliably. Without access to the original text you can't really copy rich elements without a lot of guessing.
Since most posts are plain text that might be acceptable. Does the the formatting of the quote matter or does the text/context of ...

He does not. Feel free to express your opinion and reply, but dont repeat your opinion until everybody stop arguing with you and topics gets abandoned.
Also not *your* decision. I'll reply when I feel a need. If a few people don't like my debate style, that's what the foe list is for but I won't ...

Re: WYSIWYG Editor/Rich Text Editor

Please try to stay civil about this. The development team has already made their decision to try and include a WYSIWYG editor in 3.2. We've already taken into consideration the discussions brought up here (and so we will have the option to disable it if you do not wish to use it).

Remember, if you ...
