Re: Prosilver redesign

That's what EXreaction said would happen (you guys fight it out) and it makes more sense than just replacing prosilver with something new. It's not going backwards, it's passing another milestone. Replacing prosilver with subsilver2 would be going backwards. ;)

Re: Prosilver redesign

To me that's supporting two styles, even if one isn't going to be actively developed. *shrug*

Prosilver doesn't need a lot of tweaking, imho... ;)

Re: Prosilver redesign

yes that would be the most logical way to handle it master. prosilver would still be supported until the new theme has enough time to replace it. We've already said we aren't going to support two styles. We aren't even really giving much support for subsilver2 in 3.1. It's just there collecting dus...

Re: Prosilver redesign

I prefer the blue too, it's what people are used to with prosilver. I don't think it needs huge changes, just some small tweaks should be sufficient. If prosilver might be depreciated in 5 years or so then maybe we shouldn't worry about new prosilver based styles and leave LESS and front awesome to ...

I'm glad that's finally settled; win-win. :D

Evidently, talking about tweaks to prosilver is productive, useful...*and* on topic. ;)

Re: Prosilver redesign

If a new style would be designed, a similar process would likely happen that did when prosilver was introduced. It was a pretty different design from subsilver and was pretty hated for a while, but then everyone loved it and other BBS's copied us. ;) We've had these two styles for a while and are f...

Re: Prosilver redesign

Master since we can abbr., those points have some merit but have been beaten to death and discussed at length in several other topics throughout the years on these forums. Those of us who have been around for a while remember them and what was decided based on them. The results of those debates has...

Re: Prosilver redesign

A more productive discussion on a "Prosilver redesign" should actually focus on Prosilver's architecture, not its look (or especially simple tweaks that anybody can make to their own personal forum). Why is tweaking prosilver less valid for a redesign topic than a complete overhaul? Becau...

Pony99CA Just add him to ignore list, really. Even if 1% of his posts might be useful by accident, it is not worth your time reading and replying to other 99%... Please do...because I *will* continue to post my opinions and I shouldn't be constantly attacked by those that disagree. :D I give *my* o...

Re: Prosilver redesign

1) You're wrong, *all* opinions are welcome here not just yours, those that agree with you, programmers and/or web designers. Try again... 2) So do you. What *you* think I should do or not doesn't mean what you wish it meant. Try again. P.S. I've been told by staff that abbreviating usernames...
