One thing that makes going strict so difficult is the target attribute is depreciated, and the only way to open a page in a new window is to use javascript... which I have never been a fan of.
The reason that they took target out is because you are not supposed to open new windows with a full ...

Good, it is processing 2000 rows at a time (so the script doesn't time out and there is enough memory available to the script).
So, each new message tells you that another 2000 rows have been converted successfully and we are at a total of so and so rows ...

I'm just curious if the CVS has already provided a lot of the bug fixing for the upgrade script, will there be a lot of bugs left to fix? And if not, will we perhaps be able to expect a sooner release of RC1 than the time period of releases between beta 4 and beta 5

Yes. It is actually quite easy to do the update packages and we want to get all the testing we need.
