I used phpBB-3.0.12_to_3.1.0-b3-dev.zip on a default 3.0.12 board and got
The update files found are incompatible with your installed version. Your installed version is 3.1.0-b2 and the update file is for updating phpBB 3.0.12 to 3.1.0-b3-dev.
Ran install/database_update.php which said
Updating ...

Just for the sake of uniformity it's a good idea; the Delete all button for admin logs for instance does exactly what it says it'll do.

Just the ability to upload and install an Ext via the ACP would be a good first step - No need to add nobs and whistles right from the start (delaying it)

Wouldn't the max execution time and max upload size settings in server puts a limit on what we can upload from acp?
Works ok for Automod, basically all I'm wondering is if 3.1 will have a version of Automod? (Autoext?)

Uploading extensions via ACP
Will it be possible to upload extensions in zip format via the ACP, then unpacked and installed automatically? Is this what the extensions admin does/will do?
Or will directories always have to be manually created and files uploaded by ftp?
