Yea I agree, that might be a better solution.
But really, I'm for any solution which gives me the ability to add icons to CPFs without having to hardcode them in.

Re: [RFC] Modern profile fields in 3.1
Have to agree about the inability to add icons to go along with custom fields. I couldn't think of a way to do it, so hard coded it https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=496&t=2273296&p=13808251#p13808251 But surely we could just have the ability to enter the path to an image? Lik...

Re: [Define New Theme] 8. Utilize Font Awesome icons where icons are needed to simplify server requests.
The only advantage of using Font Awesome for me as a admin, would be the ability to quickly add/change icons.
But that would not be worth it if it meant risk of noticeable bigger overhead or Interruptions out of my control.
Maybe it could be made as an extra option instead of an dependency?

Re: [RFC] Ability to @mention specific users in posts
The person using the name [/mention] would not be able to get mentioned.
I'm pretty sure we can live with that.

Re: [RFC] Ability to @mention specific users in posts
We are talked about adding auto complete to mentions right? So if someone adds an "@" phpBB will then start trying to auto complete after for example 3 additional letters are typed. Just like on smartphones and tablets. Then it shouldn't matter if someone wanted to use a name made up entir...

So much time and energy spent on something so utterly pointless and insignificant...
