Re: [RFC] Multiquote

@callum, precisely my third option. Even if JS is disabled, users should be able to multiquote, and it is fairly simple, add &quoteid=<postid1>|<postid2> to the url and it should do fine

Re: [RFC] Ability to @mention specific users in posts

Well, once the "search user should recommend usernames" is finished and merged, we can figure out a way to use the same thing in finding usernames with spaces. Tagging can also be done in a style similar to the github markup for links, for eg: [@user name], you should try this option : blabla or ask...

[RFC] Multiquote

Multiquote as proposed would provide the same functionality as we see in the vbulletin bboard script. If the user needs to quote multiple replies in a single post, he/she can select them either via a separate button for multiquote or using the existing quote button. Since there is quick reply involv...

Re: [RFC] API

This is almost what I meant by a JavaScript API, I'd love to work on an SDK for PHP and JS, once this is implemented. Auth can be done via tokens and secrets, in the ACP, an admin can allow/deny an application requesting API access. Just like any other API service, the user needs to be auth'ed only ...

Re: [RFC] Change login box text

hehe I meant, I can't edit the ticket, since it's not mine.

Well, the change as requested seems more apt at the user end. Remember me is more common than log me in automatically. I have always noticed it when logging into a phpbb forum :p

Re: [RFC] Change login box text

The ticket isn't mine, but what I mean is, change the text "Log me on automatically each visit", which is found on the login pages, to any one from the above.

[RFC|Rejected] Holy Grail ajax_api.php

The current ajax implementations depend on tweaking existing code to attain its functionality. I propose something like ajax_api.php where all the .ajax() request goes and are processed. This would make it an easier job to integrate quick edit, quick reply and any such features to be added in the fe...

Re: [RFC] Attachment improvements

If any moderator removes/moves an attachment, other MODs and Admins should be able to review the change. A attachment_history table will be implemented with attachment id, post id, time of removal, moderator who removed the attachment, any removal comments etc. Please suggest further modifications t...

Re: [RFC] Private message notifications

The alternative to confirm box would be something similar to the Facebook Beeper, the notification shall contain "You have # unread messages.", which fades/slides in and stays for about 5 secs, which has the option to hide the notif, preferably a close button like in phpbb_alert, which when clicked ...
