Status?
3.1.0-a3 still contains confirmation pages and they're still a showstopper for me.
I know it has been only six years, but come on guys and girls https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtop ... 4&t=595514

Don't require table prefix
I wanted to install phpBB-3.1.0-a3 without (MySQL) table prefix but it didn't allow me to. Is this a bug?
If not, why is a table prefix required?

No, I'm requesting a manual transmission until the automatic one is ready. :p

Re: phpBB 3.1 Information and Status
It does but for it to be worth the amount of development time and the significance of extensions the overall view was it would need extensions. Sure, but we need actions, not words. If nobody is willing to finish extensions in a reasonable timeframe (which IMO has expired already) I really think it...

Re: phpBB 3.1 Information and Status
What's stopping you from changing the 3.1 release strategy to your better release strategy? The consensus of the development team was that releasing 3.1 without extensions was not worth the effort. It would be nice if all developers prioritized getting extensions finished above other work, but so f...

Re: phpBB 3.1 Information and Status
I actually like your answer and thank you for it.
What's stopping you from changing the 3.1 release strategy to your better release strategy? Move all unmerged RFCs to 3.2 and get 3.1 ready for release.

Re: phpBB 3.1 Information and Status
It doesn't really matter what you call it. So: Any plans to release 3.1 this year?

Re: phpBB 3.1 Information and Status
Any plans to release 3.1 this year? It's like development progress has grinded to a halt. How does https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb3/pulls and https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb3/commits/develop suggest development grinding to a halt? If anything I'd say the amount of development in recent months has gro...

Re: [RFC] Skip post confirmation page
Why not? It's my understanding that phpBB wants to move more towards hooks for the software. Including a hook that disables the redirects will server both sides - those that want the redirect pages (like myself) have the option to delete the hook to retain that functionality. No, it doesn't. It's a...
