The command line version of cvs is included in both programs, just go to a command prompt, change to the tortoise/wincvs program folder, and run the commands from there.

Old debate, but I can't help to mention how it saddens me to see otherwise capable members ridiculing others for asking about a pretty basic function which is important to them.

"The forum clock is an hour off twice a year and all users have to set it manually" may not seem like an important issue ...

I think the team appreciates such stuff reported on the Bugtracker. It may not change anyway, but at least they'll know.

You would mean a specific version as to avoid posting errors already corrected in CVS.

Sorry I asked, I won't be asking again, then, and instead use the bugtracker; I have a lot of bugs in the Beta1 I got installed. A lot. *shrug*
