Re: are people just that bored?

are people just that bored?
Is it just me, or does it seem like there's an awful lot of effort going into hacking phpbb web sites?
Does anybody ever explore this phenom?
Are people really that bored? Or is there another agenda at work? Is someone possibly paying for this service?

Re: Suggestion
Thanks for the link cyberCrank! Like I said, I don't check here regularly, but still want to know when it's done. The subscription-to-updates will work just fine for me.

Re: Suggestion
I'd be in favor of one locked announcement topic that every one (who wants to be notified upon release) could subscribe to. I do not check here on a daily or even a weekly basis for a release announcement and would appreciate being notified when it's ready to go.

Re: Following a mod install...
Thanks for the reply!
I didn't think it was necessary to save them. The install mod history is stored in the database, so I might as well save the disc space. Makes for faster backups.
Thanks again,
Doug

Following a mod install...
Is there a recommended procedure following a mod install?
I have started a clean install of 2.0.6, and have successfully added EasyMod, and the Attachment Mod. I'm keeping file & database backups of this install and I'm certain that I will never want to remove these 2 mods, so I'm wondering what to ...

Re: release
Your are, of course, both correct. However, then it would be somewhat limited to one post, 15 million (when?) replys long, but all in one post.
Like I said, it was just a thought.
