Re: Justifying the name PHPBB3!
WYSIWYG would be kinda cool, but what about all those people who use Macs out there? Alot of times, the advanced javascript required for things like that to work doesn't work on older Macintosh systems, and believe me, there are people who use Macintosh computers in this world.

Re: Modded phpBB Olympus Upgrade?
Ya, that would be sick if I had to restart by board from scratch. I have a heavily modified forum, and v3 will be a nice breath of freash air, maybe I can install new themes without having to hack the templates to do it!!!

Re: Attachments in 2.2
I use the forum attachment feature alot on my board. I used forum permissions to restrict upload access to only people I authorize. I also have it set to upload files to other webspace that I have.
I use attach MOD mainly to allow my users to attach mods, mutators, skins/models, ect. for Unreal ...

Timezone Selection in Preferences...
Is there any way that certain timezones be labeled as such. Say instead of GMT-6 use "Central Time Zone" or whatever GMT-6 is?
Thanks!
Thanks!

If all else fails, you can change them on your own board.psoTFX wrote:Everyone has their own "taste" ... I like them 'as is', as do many people. We can't please everyone

Approximate release date?
Do you have a goal or approximate release date for 2.2? I know it is in Alpha so it won't be very accurate, but I would love to know.

Preferences
Looks like you fixed the Preferences panel in the UCP.
I really like the redesigned Profile screen, looks a lot more refined and better organized.

Re: Avatar size
idea....
(should be in tracker i know...)
In the admin section you could include a "Check remote avatars"-function...
This sould be able to see if size or dimetions are not in order...
(if not by script, I't 'll be posible on view)
Then you can warn that usere, or delete his avatar..

Re: Admin Control Panel simulation
Didn't work. May 29th is still unstable. What type of database where your using?
NOTE: I did get my hands a little dirty, but I don't know why I get a "Could not get style data" error. Trying to do a little debugging work.
