Not sure what is gonna transpire. However, it would not have to check on every page. What I would do is disable the profile updating ability of one of the systems (phpBB or the other) then whenever someone clicks into phpbb and the auth routine is run check to se if the any data needs copied. It would be fairly simple to write code in the authentication handler to transfer profile data between the two systems. You just got copy any changed data.

I understand what you are sying. And its true, the support issue is a big one. Like I said previously I am not to woried as I can change it to whatever I like so no big deal. Maybe I will make a MOD for those that want to change it.

What about doing it kinda of like you do the .php extension in extinsion.inc. Anotherwords dont hard code the template extension use a variable that can be easily changed. In this way you can have it defualt to .html as you all feel is apropriate, but those that ant it to be something else like .tpl ...

And of course like eveything else in phpBB you are free to change it to whatever you like. If you like .tpl just change everything back to that.
I personally like the extension .psoTFX so I think I will use that.

attachment is one thing, but when you attach a file, the board software won't know it is an image, and before the actual upload you won't know the URL to the attachment, posting an attachment and then editing a post etc. isn't the best way to upload a picture and add it to your message.

What part of the Jabber support wont work without mhash? The whole thing or only part? I am currious becuase there seems to be a problem with mhash on windows. The stupid dll wont load, and after hours of searching for a solution I gave up.
