Re: phpBB 3.0.9 Release Candidate 1 published

I did it without using the page.

Now I finished updating my styles, but I just hope that the stable version will be released before or after my 2-weeks vacation that I'll spend at my fifth wheel trailer for the whole second half of July. I won't have the net (Mom doesn't want any computer in our FW ...

Re: phpBB 3.0.9 Release Candidate 1 published

I'm currently updating my styles (all Prosilver-based), but I found this :

Re: [RFC] CSS Image Sprites

I didn't notice that you already posted in the stated topic.

But what I'm trying to tell is that even the fanciest way to hide text while using CSS background for a content-bearing image cannot beat the good ol' ALT attribute of the IMG element.

Re: [RFC] CSS Image Sprites

A big problem with sprites is the it works only for CSS backgrounds which aren't recommended for content-bearing pics for accessibility reasons, for users such as people with very bad vision who have to use a high contrast setting that disable background images.

Re: [RFC] This been tested for blind users?

Hello Daniel and sorry for not posting earlier. I really enjoyed my handiski session, and tonight, I had to finish my maple stuffed cookies recipe.

Now, here's the topic about the style I mentioned earlier : http://forums.phpbb-fr.com/aide-a-la-creation-et-au-developpement-de-styles/sujet171354 ...

Re: [RFC] This been tested for blind users?

Hello, I'm here to support *Daniel, as I have a bad vision too, even thought mine is less severe than his (I can use Ubuntu with default settings), but my vision might worsen anyway, as I have Leber Congenital Amaurosis that is an evolutive disease.

Ok, I misunderstood your post. I thought it was ...
