Re: [PHPBB3-15928] Remove support for downloading backups

I would prefer a change where there can only be one Founder as that would get around all of these types of problems.

I wouldn't. :)

It might be an idea for phpBB 3.3/4, I don't see it as something to implement in 3.2 anyway.

Why would an extra permission need to wait for a ...

Re: Future support for Sphinx Search

Re: [NEW THEME] 4. JS frameworks & approach

This is what we truly aim to solve. Do not get me wrong certain aspect could truly benefit from Ajax via an api as well which is a huge advantage not just for core but for extensions

Agreed. As an extension author, I have more than once settled for a suboptimal approach or even had to skip ...

Re: On password protected forums...

By all means, ditch it. I can't remember any board using it in the past decade, except Area51 of course.

-edit-
Just peeked in that yogurt forum, it's full of topics from 2003 where people are voting for removing that feature. Might be time to just do it.

Re: Outlining a New Theme

I see, it's base-l ? I've looked at your Github repo's but didn't recognize it as having anything to do with phpBB. Seems like a starting point.

Not sure where the second quote came from but it’s sort of out of context. The post right above my previous, from last December.

Essentially we are ...

Re: Outlining a New Theme

From the JS topic:
If you are familiar with the progress of the new theme you will know that I am wrote from scratch our own custom framework for handling the CSS.

And here:

Look for more information on .com

I have looked, but really I cannot find anything indicating a status, some code, some ...

Re: Name of the new style

Just call it "Granny" to refer to inheritance. Or something like "Genesis" (albeit that might be a bit too Christian)

Re: Releasing 3.2.3

is there something I'm missing that's holding RC2 (or final) 3.2.3 back? Language changes were posted in march saying there would be a release 'soon'.
