Re: Why script-tags are placed at the bottom of the page in Prosilver?
As long as jQuery is at the bottom I can't do what I want to do. That's why I'd like to see jQuery in the <head> in the next version of the Prosilver. Sure you can! I don't know what you want to do, but there shouldn't be a single thing that can't be done because of whether jQuery is at the top or ...

Re: Extensionalize phpBB
The very idea of this makes everything many orders of maginitude harder to maintain, as far as updates, compatibility, development, usability and language translations go. It makes releases more difficult to ship as we would be required to also manage/release multiple extensions with a phpBB release...

Re: Extensionalize phpBB
Seems like a good way to make a lot of work admins again. They would have to find, download, install and manage updates on a whole slew of features that have always been built into the core.
A big no vote from me.

Re: Has someone been updating Area51's board software?
Yeah all the forum icon status buttons are fuzzy...not sharp or retina at all. I've seen this mentioned elsewhere. They look like the original icons were scaled up 2x and saved that way...hence they are fuzzy even when rescaled back down to their original size vvia CSS. https://github.com/phpbb/phpb...

Re: Should we standardize our page titles
Ahem... I think the point of the way it is now is because the user is more interested in seeing the topic or forum title than the site name in their title bar or favorites. I agree. And I think we should now extend that to be board wide. because this becomes an issue with extensions. For example, P...

Should we standardize our page titles
Right now our page titles are inconsistent
When iewing topics and forums we show (which is usually preferred for many reasons):
page title • site name
All other pages are reversed:
site name • page title
Should we update our page titles (simplify it) to show the former for all pages?

These topics are not an announcement of a release, but rather an open checklist and discussion of an upcoming release.

Re: [Redesign] User Online Banner
I'd look to something like Facebook which is all about users and who is online or not. They just have usually a little green "on" light next to a user's name when they are online. Something similar would work fine IMO next to the user's name. Glowing names are a little silly and almost feel old fash...
