No, they probably are not. phpBB uses sessions to keep track of users as they move between pages. The session information tells us who this user is. Therefore in order to determine what a user can do on a page ...

Not sure if anyone has seen this ... the search did not result in an answer. While in the Administrative Panel, there is the famous "Who is Online". I had a Guest user that was shown as "Reading Private Messages".
