Making fun on the release date and the grandsons, in particular in an information topic on the development board (as opposed to a general chit-chat section) is, if not disrespectful, at least not nice IMO.

Guys, please be respectful of the devs. It's taking a long time, true, but remember that they are working for us for free.

Not against the idea, but IMO not essential, as (IMO again) a good moderator should always reply to a topic when he performs some action on it, in order to explain what he's doing. The only possible exception I see to this is editing posts sometimes.

But if he was referring to the thread titles in a specific forum, then it might be feasible. Or not?
