Yup, any site where I register that logs me in right away. The first thing I do is log out and log in to store the password.

What might be a good idea, is if the phpBB4 Admin Panel could link up to a plugin feed on phpBB's mainsite so the Administrator could download plugins directly to the installation without having to download to their computer, upload and then install the plugin. The Plugin Manager in the Admin Panel ...

I worked it out a while ago, the same day I asked in fact, so dosen't matter.

I use TortoiseCVS and TortoiseSVN btw.

When you split a thread which has gone to like 50 pages plus there prehaps could be a feature what when you click on a topic it will drop down to reveal the seperate groups of pages where the topic has been split.

A feature like that 'post rating' feature on Youtube. It could be implemented if the Admin wants it to be ie. an optional feature in the admin panel. Any thoughts?

I have not read the entire thread, just the first page. I do not understand what Jabber is, but I think it would be logical to replace it with Skype. Prehaps a feature what allows the admin to select which ones he wants in a User Profile from the admin panel.
