If everyone is so paranoid about a "default" anti-spam option being compromised because it's included in the major release, then why not just remove ALL anti-spam options and allow people to just mod their own?
At this point, if captcha is the only option, I'll be rolling my own anyway.

Re: Suspecting RC1 very soon!
Great idea drew. I would be more willing to use that than captcha.

Re: Bug is less,
I have some users that would not be able to read those. I gotta tell ya, I'm not old, but I am color blind, and I had a hard time with those.

And just change the question and answer every month or even every week. If it was in the ACP, it would be really easy to do often.

I highly agree with the simple question method. We had captcha turned on for a while and the only people it kept out was the people who couldn't read the text very well. Spam bots still got in. I took it out, hardcoded in the question "What is 5+2?" and I haven't had one spam bot since.

Re: phpBB2 -> phpBB3 Upgrade Script Discussion
I did a test conversion of our small forum today on my machine locally. It went very well. Everything seems to work fine. I will be running the conversion on our public server next... It won't go live, but it will allow people to test it out in a somewhat "live" environment. Thanks for all...
