you are posting about converting mysql to firebird which is absolutely nothing to do with converting phpBB2 to phpBB3. I disagree with that. Since Firebird is only supported in phpbb 3, then it's obvious the converter should take this into account and offer the possibility to work with different so...

Managed to convert v 2.0.22 (with MySql ) to v 3.0 b 5 -cvs (with Firebird ), but by using some tricks: Did a clean v 3 install for MySql , and: Applied the conversion still for MySql in the same database . Exported the database Data-Only (no structure) in text format (no gzip). Removed all occurre...

Bang! Didn't work!
As I guessed, the SQL statements generated from a backup from MySQL are not compatible with Firebird. I got a huge error screen.
